Pets welcome · You and your dog or cat · Teal studio

Can I make a 58th Floor AI video with my pet? Yes.

Yes. 58th Floor AI accepts a pet in either slot: one photo of you and one of your dog or cat, or two pets. The animal stands upright at the hanging mic in the teal studio with its own paws, fur and markings, and its mouth moves only during its part. No human hands are added to animals.

What's new on this page

  • First version: pet and human combinations, pet photo tips and what a pet clip looks like.

Which combinations work

You and your pet: the most popular version. Put yourself on the hook as photo 1 and let the pet take the verse as photo 2, or the other way round if you want the pet to open. Two pets: a dog and a cat, or two dogs, trading the hook and the verse.

Dogs and cats give the most reliable results because their faces read clearly in a photo. Other animals can work, but expect more variation between renders.

What a pet clip looks like

The pet stands upright at the mic like a performer, in the same teal studio and the same four shots as a human clip. It keeps its real fur colour, markings and shape so you can recognise it, and its paws stay paws: the generator is told not to give animals human hands or fingers.

An animal’s mouth does not move like a human’s, so a pet raps the way you would imagine a dog or cat rapping, not with human lip shapes. That is usually the funny part.

Pet photo tips

Get down to eye level and fill most of the frame with the face. Use daylight, keep the eyes open and visible, and make sure only one animal is in the picture. Avoid costumes, cones or anything covering the muzzle, and skip blurry action shots.

Your own photo follows the usual rules: one person, face visible, no sunglasses.

Posting the pet version

Download the 9:16 MP4 with the original sound, or the Silent version, and label the post as AI-generated. The pet’s jaw moves on its own lines of the song and stays shut while the other one raps.
